“Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights: Making Automated Systems Work for the American People”

The Public Interest Technologist team selected “Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights” as an example of public facing technology policy aimed to bridge principles and practice for an America that continues to standardize the use of artificial intelligence across society. Presented by the Biden-Harris White House Office of Science and Technology, the Blueprint outlines five core principles aimed to protect the public and take timely measures to regulate and promote Data Privacy, Algorithmic Discrimination, Safe and Effective Systems, Notice and Explanation, and arguing for Human Alternatives and Fallback.
